you know what businesses have that identity thieves want to steal? The
answer is simple…..thieves want your company’s information
assets. According to a 2007 Report, the total one year amount
of identity fraud in 2006 represented $55.7 billion.
ESD is pleased to announce the Identity Theft Information Compliance
workshop for ESD members. This workshop is the newest addition
to the growing list of ESD Member Benefits. ESD is working
in partnership with Identity Theft LOSS Prevention, LLC, certified
identity theft risk management specialists to bring information
compliance awareness to your business. This member benefit
could save your organization time and money by meeting State and
Federal information compliance guidelines and by avoiding data
theft.
If you don’t know the answers to the following questions,
you should attend this workshop:
- Are you fully aware of the scope of Identity Theft; that it
goes beyond electronic data?
- Are you in compliance with newly imposed State and Federal
Guidelines for information security for businesses, companies
and organizations?
