ESD 20th Annual Solid Waste Technical Conference

This conference is designed to educate attendees on emerging technologies and regulatory changes that affect the solid waste industry. This one-day conference will showcase national experts presenting on issues at the forefront of solid waste management.
You are invited to take an active role in this event by submitting a presentation proposal addressing any of the following topics that relate to the 2009 theme and overall objective of the conference:
TOPICS:
Landfill Gas Control and Management
Liquids Management
Landfill Design, Construction and Operations Case Studies
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
Your abstract for oral presentation (250 word maximum) must clearly present any of the above topics in relation to the Solid Waste industry. Please include a brief synopsis of the benefits attendees will take away after attending your presentation. Please e-mail your presentation abstract including title, author affiliation and e-mail address to Tim Walker at twalker@esd.org by the Friday, October 2, 2009 deadline. Please submit in a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) or Word format. If your presentation is accepted by the planning committee to be included in the program for the ESD 20th Annual Solid Waste Technical Conference, you will be notified of your acceptance by Friday, October 16, 2009.
Upon notification of acceptance, final presentations for the workshop in PowerPoint format must be received by Friday, March 19, 2010 These PowerPoint slides will be included in the Presentation Handout and placed on the ESD Website.
