Call for Presentations
DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 30, 2007
This conference is designed to educate commercial and industrial
businesses on energy technology and trends that will assist them
in successful energy management. The 2008 Energy Conference
and Exhibition theme will be “Advancing EnergyEfficiency
and Productivity”
You are invited to take an active role in this solutions-based
event by submitting a presentation proposal addressing any of the
following topics that relate to the 2008 theme and overall objective
of the conference:
TOPICS:
‘Green’ Benefits to Energy Conservation
Policy Impacts and Benefits to Business Consumers
Energy Efficiency Implementation Case Study
Funding Methods for Energy Efficiency Improvements
Emerging Technology that reduces energy consumption
Energy’s impact on Economic Development in Michigan
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
Your abstract for oral presentation (2 Paragraph) must clearly
present any of the above topics in relation to the theme of the
event. Please include a brief synopsis of the benefits attendees
will take away after attending your presentation. Please
e-mail your presentation abstract including title, author affiliation
and e-mail address to Tim Walker at twalker@esd.org by
the November 30, 2007 deadline. Please submit in a PDF (Adobe
Acrobat) or Word format. If your presentation is accepted
by the planning committee to be included in the program for the
2008 Energy Conference and Exhibition, you will be notified of
your acceptance by Monday, December 17, 2007.
Upon notification of acceptance, final presentations for the workshop
in PowerPoint format must be received by Friday, March 21, 2008. These
PowerPoint slides will be included in the Presentation Handout
and placed on the ESD and DTE Websites.
