The Engineering Society of Detroit is inviting you to take a behind-the-scenes, unique tour of the MGM Grand Detroit.
All it takes to turn the same ol', same ol' into something special is a touch of the Lion. Out of town travelers and natives alike all hear the roar rising from the opulent $800-million MGM Grand Detroit. Developed by MGM MIRAGE, one of the world's most respected hotel and gaming companies, and invested in by Metro-Detroit Partner's LLC, MGM Grand Detroit is the first-ever Las Vegas-style destination to open in a major metropolitan core. This behind- the-scenes tour of the MGM Grand Detroit will include underground substations, boiler systems, fire pumps, and parallel rooms. We will also be able to see the impressive cook/chill system in their kitchens. Our tour guide is a an engineer and an ESD member.
Cost: $25 ESD Members; $54 for non-members — join ESD at this reduced rate and attend the tour for free.
