This year, the Engineering Society of Detroit is celebrating its 115-year anniversary.  For over a century, ESD has provided a venue for individuals brave enough to dream and talented enough to make those dreams come true. We are proud of our legacy and our contributions to the region’s industries, but we must move forward now more than ever.

Our region still has its hurdles in our shared journey towards economic stability.  ESD and the pivotal ESD Institute are a catalyst for creating innovative ideas, investment, and job opportunities. We do this by keeping true to our founding mission to serve this generation of engineers, scientists, architects and all technical professionals and fostering the next. 

Come be inspired by the opportunities we’re championing, the amazing people we are bringing together, and the students and young professionals we are nurturing.
