Safety Courses
The Engineering Society of Detroit has partnered with the Safety
Council of Southeast Michigan to bring you a comprehensive series
of safety seminars. Attend one or all of these seminars and reduce
disabling injuries and illnesses to employees, reduce high direct
and indirect costs of work-related injuries and enhance your company’s
bottom line. A strong safety and health commitment protects workers,
improves employee morale and increases production and quality.

The Michigan Safety
Council has tailored this special class to meet the needs of engineers
who are involved with employee safety in their work environment.
During the two-day course, participants will discuss the differences
between OSHA and MIOSHA, rights and responsibilities, record-keeping,
personal protective equipment, hazardous communication, electrical
safety, lockout/tag-out, machine guarding, and many other topics.
