Future
City Mentors
Staff Liaison: Sue

Goal: The engineer mentor
is a key part of this program. The mentor acts as a
technical advisor, working with the team through all phases
of the competition—computer design, essay, abstract,
model construction and presentation.
Time commitment: As a mentor, you
would work with the teacher to find a time that works for
both of you. You should also be available via phone
and/or email to answer questions. Mentors typically
spend at least 40 hours between September and January advising
their team.
