The mission of MSPE is to promote ethical and professional conduct by engineers, to monitor and act on legislative developments that affect engineers, to promote professional licensure, to provide continuing education opportunities for engineers and to promote education of new engineers. The Detroit Metro Chapter of MSPE typically holds 8 to 12 general membership meetings every year, and was recognized by the state organization last year with the Macinac Award, the highest honor that MSPE provides.
