Founded in 1911, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) is the world's oldest and largest professional safety organization. ASSE's mission is to foster the technical , scientific, managerial and ethical knowledge, skills and competency of safety, health and environmental professions; for the protection of people, property and the environment, and to advance the status and promote the advancement of the safety profession.
